November 2020 will mark our fourth edition of the Young Horse Show Series Finals Stallion Auction!
The YHS Stallion Auction supports the Young Horse Show Final allowing us to host the best possible young horse event of the year in the United States, showcasing young stock for multiple disciplines and breeds, making it the most unique competition of its kind.

As we grow, we are constantly striving to keep costs down for participants at all events and most especially at the Finals but also bring more prizes and awards to breeders, owners and riders.

The Young Horse show team invites you to consider a future breeding to one of the many stallions offered in the YHS Online Auction or, if you are a stallion owner, either new, or well established, this is a great opportunity to donate a breeding and promote your program and support the series at the same time!

Let’s all work together and make the YHS Finals the place to be when it comes to the future of our sport!

"He's always been the kindest stallion. Brave and careful are hard combinations to find but that's how he was in the ring. A real competitor with a gentle edge!"- Brianne Goutal-Marteau

Nice de Prissey is a powerful and confident stallion, both brave and careful, who during his career navigated the top courses on the international jumping scene with ease. Ridden by Brianne Goutal from 2010 until his retirement in 2019, they were nominated to the Long List for the 2012 Olympic Games and have had top placings at Falsterbo, Barcelona, WEF, and Spruce Meadows.

Nice de Prissey is the epitome of French breeding featuring incredibly influential bloodlines. He is by Rosire, who is by the well-known and significant Selle Francais stallion Uriel. Uriel was a prolific stallion who contributed to French breeding by producing over 50 licensed stallions, the most notable being Rosire, Le Prince de Thurin, Nuriel, Paladin des Ifs, Si Tu Viens, and Arpege Pierreville. Uriel also sired Calvados, originally called Sable Rose, who became a major influencer in Holland's development of their jumper breeding program.

Nice de Prissey is linebred with noteworthy thoroughbred bloodlines that are seen in today's modern international show jumpers. Ajax xx, Teddy xx, Orange Peel xx, and Cyllene xx are found throughout his pedigree in both his sire and dam . Examples of the contributions from these stallions can be found in Jus de Pomme, Ibrahim (Alme Z), Plein d'Espoirs, Nankin, and Montigny (Viscount, Fil D'Argent) . Nice's dam sire, Amarpour xx, has both Nearco xx and Teddy xx in his pedigree, and he is also the dam sire of Venise des Cresles, who is the dam of renowned stallion Diamant de Semilly.

Nice de Prissey brings the best of French breeding to the United States with his pedigree, scope, large stride, and heart. We look forward to watching the development of his offspring in the US.
